Infection Control has always been a top priority for our practice and we are committed to your safety. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable. We follow infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the American Dental Association ( ADA). We follow the activities of these agencies routinely so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

These are additional steps we are taking for your health and safety:

  • Our office will communicate with you before-hand to ask some screening questions. We will ask you to call the office from your car when arrive, and you will be asked the same screening questions again before entry.
  • For the safety of patients and staff, individuals with signs and symptoms associated with COVID will be rescheduled:
    • Runny Nose
    • Sore or Scratchy Throat
    • Cough
    • Fever
    • Shortness of Breath/ Breathing Problems
    • Loss of Smell or taste
  • You will be asked to enter the office wearing your mask, and use the hand sanitizer sitting on the reception counter.
  • Your temperature will be taken.
  • The staff are being screened as well, two times a day. We are not allowing staff to work fi they feel ill, have a fever, or have been in close contact with individuals who have COVID.
  • You will see air purifiers in each room which have medical grade HEPA filters scrubbing the air.
  • Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.
  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
  • In the operatories we will be wearing more attire, a cap, gown, gloves, mask, and shield.

The staff and I do look forward to seeing you, and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
